In today's world, saying "I'm scared", seems to be taboo. Some believe the phrase signals a sign of weakness, negative-thinking, or pessimism. For me, the exact opposite is true. Losing a job, financial stress, marital problems, moving cross country, starting a new career, are all damn good reasons to feel fear. And, acknowledging the feeling without letting it cripple your actions, in fact, signals strength. Yes, I am scared. It's only natural. Has fear ever stopped me from doing or getting through something? No! And that's why I'm proud to say, "YES! I'm scared!"
